Alex Yazbeck has spent more than two decades at the centre of Lebanese and Middle Eastern live music in Australia — directing bands for international touring artists, producing and recording between Australia and Lebanon, and leading orchestral-scale live productions.
His work spans the full Lebanese repertoire: folk and mountain traditions, the golden-era songbook, patriotic repertoire, dabke, and contemporary Lebanese and Arabic pop.
He has recorded in Lebanon, producing a complete album at Studio El Sharq with an Australian-Lebanese artist — direct professional experience inside Lebanon's music industry.
